A supportive space for sharing information,
resources and experiences about our mental health

Our mental health is just as important as our physical health. Clinical depression can be just as debilitating as chronic Lyme disease. Severe anxiety can be just as constraining as the loss of a limb in some cases. Bipolar disorder can be just as disruptive in an individual's life as a diagnosis of cancer. Yet, in many cases, the ability to recognize symptoms, feeling comfortable and open in talking about symptoms and behaviors, getting a proper diagnosis and finding the right course of treatment are roadblocks to a person and their family whose mental health is deteriorating.

It’s time to treat our mental health with the same respect, concern and openness as our physical health. We can
accomplish this by increasing our awareness, removing the stigma by talking freely of any symptoms or treatment and becoming constantly vigilant about the state of our mental health. This website was created to help us move toward these goals.

I am not a mental health professional. I have no formal education in the mental health field. However, what I do have is experience with myself, my family members and friends who have had mental health issues. The need for sharing experiences, amd helpful treatments in an effort to reduce the mental health stigma has inspired me to create this website. The purpose of this site is to share the knowledge and insight I have obtained in the hope of building a common forum for those that are seeking help to get it.
